Yes Sir
I had a customer today that demanded to be called Mr so and so... haven't had one of these in a while. I politely called him Mr so and so, and he was very polite after this. But seriously I prescribe to the theory that I am Morgan Storey hence the domain and I want to be called whatever the person calling me feels comfortable, don't really care all that much when they mishear and call me Matt or James (how do you get james from Morgan), anyway so getting to the point of my rant names. Why do we place so much importance on our names there just our label, just a collection of our ancestry, they don't need to be abandoned people just need to relax about them.
I read an article the other day on smh that really makes the whole name game seem very odd to me, people seem to be placing way to much importance on it, don't get me wrong a name is important but caring so much and so little at the same time that when a couple gets married they hyphenate it or merge it. Fiona and I discussed this, it brings about a nightmare for these peoples children I seriously think my name is too long at the moment God forbid it was Morgan Parker-Barrett-Bowen-Storey... or even worse www.morgan-parker-barrett-bowen-storey.com no one would ever visit my site, not that many do at the moment. I have to say I agree with Marion my mother in law, that if people care this much that their maiden name be preserved it should be used as one of their children’s middle names.
On another note as you can probably tell the page has been updated yet again, this time to remove the pesky frames that I added oh so long ago, I have kept the pretty formatting though so now i think it is just what I want... well at the moment anyway.
On another note again, when people stop hammering the Saturday scruples website I will be able to post a new scruple...yipeee... but they have breached there bandwidth usage...
Oh yeah I am nominated for Australian weblog of the year, of course I nominated myself...heheh... but wtf I thought, go here to nominate for people. Yeah I know I am vain but I nominated others.
Dear God will this guy please find his Windows 98 cd i have written most of this while I sit here still waiting...geez.
Peace out all, even those plebs still running Windows 98.

Happy new year
There are some changes going on around here, a new year and some changes being made.
You may remember a while back I said I read an old article saying how frames are bad and how I said that I used to think the same thing well after finding out most bots that find sites can't read frames, and that older browsers can't and that they take longer to render for the computer that is looking at it and well can just make things look nasty I have taken the time to remove them at the moment there maybe some downtime while other parts of this page are updated to conform :P
On another note my company is up and running with its own website, not much there yet been too busy, have a look
Oh yeah went and saw Return of The King at "La Premier" Yesterday, movie was awesome, La Premier was ok... popcorn, drink machine and toilets should have all been closer though and the seats weren't uber comfortable, next time definitely going to Greater union gold class.
Anyway bed time now before it is the 2nd...
Peace out all.

Another Year over
Well almost tafe is finished, done, kaputsky. It was fun while it lasted, a bit on the easy level, but that’s expected hope I can do it next year, hope next year I don't feel like pulling my hair out due to its being aimed low... No offence to the noobies that were in the class they picked it up pretty quick, but myself and the other people who knew what a hard drive was should have been allowed to skip ahead with no detriment to ourselves...it is not my fault I am smart...arse...heheh. Though I was paid a rather nice insult (???) yes I said insult, I am sure it was meant to be an insult but I took it as a great complement cause that is the kind of pompous and conceited guy I am... heheh I kid I Kid... the insult/complement was "You sure do read a lot, don't you Morgan". This was after I was blabbering on about the chip I mentioned in an earlier post, then I started to look at the junk I read, the register, penny-arcade, annanova, smh, overclockers, the almighty zzz, and New scientist and atomic (eww hardcopy) damn maybe I do read a lot... ah well same teacher also gave me another complement/insult, well have to complete it later someone else needs this pc, l8r
Welcome back to this year in review...
Well back at work it is the next day now where was I? Oh yeah the other complement insult from one of my tafe teachers... She said "Obvious someone who will be a network engineer one day" After I did a presentation that was suppose to be short that went for 40minutes on network technologies.... heheh uber geek :P
So to recap my year, WDS, Tafe, Engaged :) and Now Optus, and own dual cpu web server...heheh there in chronological order trust me...

insert wavy lines, Its flashback time
For those who don't know the internet has been round a damn long time, and I am coming up to my first decade online... that is right, and scary, I have been surfing and trolling and chatting and well being my online presence for almost ten years, so it is time for a little flashback brought on by finding this site, a little trip back in time, check out "the emulator" section, very funky, check out netscape navigator and even internet explorer, back when i first started using it, netscape was the only browser to use, IE suxed the big one, and that is what websites looked like gotta love the grey background.
On looking through these emulators I found a link to a post on the IE emulator, I am pretty sure I have read it before, it is what originally deterred me from using frames on this site, how easily I crumbled, when I read it, it reaffirmed my vigour for disliking frames to an extent, so be prepared for a major change (again) to remove the frames and make it look all schmick, like other sites I visit.
Frames are bad and good people don't use them :P
I got rid of my inline frame, I learnt to live without it, I am sure my top and side frames will not be difficult to remove, maybe while I am at it I can learn to use style sheets instead...hmm
Well Peace out all, even those who are determined to undermine the "ease of use of the web" with their icky frames.
