The story: Poor kitt was lost to us
on New Years of all times. Worst of all, I bet it was sold for a lot less
than its real worth. You see it was stolen, it had lasted a long time
and seen a lot of use, we will miss you kitt. My laptop called Kitt, stats are as follows. -Celeron 400 overclocked to 450( but that is the limit of the mobo) -11gb Hard drive -160mb of ram -24x cd drive -Floppy disc drive -Dexxa optical mouse(still got it but it died) -2 crappy internal speakers -Pcmcia Gold card 56k modem(sold before it was stolen) -Pcmcia 10/100 card -Pcmcia Orinco Bronze 802.11b Wireless network card. -Pcmcia to compact flach card. -4mb video card (shares sytem ram as well, hey I got avp running on it) -15" passive matrix display -shares the orb drive(sold) with r2d2, as well as a networked drive. -Shares cable connection(now on adsl) and router. -Win XPpro |
My box that had a specific purpose to be a download server/manager, unfortunately while fixing up the case for garfield to use to assist it in fufilling its purpose a drill flipped out of my hands onto the motherboard, thus is the end tale of Garfield, but with the new pc's R2D2 is now the server, it has more hard drives anyway... Hopefully no more pc's ever in my life will bight the big one but I suppose it happens.
