I am Married to the best woman in the world, I know everyone says that. But who else in the world has a selfless, intelligent, funny, witty wife who is interested in the same things you are... yeah I thought not.
Then the bonus despite all my failings she decided to procreate with me, so we now have a beautiful, happy, cute son.
Ah yes I like hardware too, it started out as a computer obsession when I got an income then took an odd twist when in quick succession I got a Dremmel Multi-tool(thanx dad) a power drill with hammer action, a jig-saw, an electric screw driver...Yeah well look at my projects here. Look at my pc's here.
I am no longer into the modding side of things, but I am working as an itconsultant, doing network/system administration and engineering.

I am an avid Live role player with a group called Adventureres Guild. Which if any of you remeber dungeons and dragons is like that. But you actually do the fighting running and spell casting. Here are some lrpers on the left. I plan on starting my own LRP soon don't know wether to make it a continuation of Adventures Guild or a space-age type one, this is all time dependant of course, and with my current list of projects...
Linux, well what can I say I have toyed with Linux since I got my first computer in early 2000, I first installed Linux Redhat 6.3(I am pretty sure) played with that for a while but was drawn back to windows by games, eventually the linux partition was removed, later in 2001, I came back trying Redhat again (hadn't I learnt my lesson?) again not liking it that much I went to BeOS for a while (an os similar in looks to MacOS, but built on unix) I even bought the companies last release but again I was drawn back to windows.
Then I got my job as a consultant so I decided to play around with it a little, first trying redhats spawn Fedora, I was actually mildly impressed and completly got rid of windows in favour of it. Then I was playing Feather Linux a distribution (aka distro) based on Debian. I liked it and really liked apt-get, I managed to find apt-get for fedora, but it is sort of pointless. About that time one of clients got a new debian based server, getting rid of their old redhat9 server. Fun :)
So my main desktop will be going to Ubuntu another nice distro based on debian. I have however already moved my laptop to it, using it to type this very page. Fiona has also moved to Ubuntu after I pointed out 90% of the apps she uses are native to linux.
